Bus Route

Checker Rd has several bus stops for multiple school districts. These bus stops are inconspicuous to drivers and with no shoulders on the road, children are at a higher risk while waiting during rush hours. The volume of reckless drivers from cut-through traffic puts our children in danger.

Violations

A local resident’s teenager was struck by a vehicle that failed to stop at red flashing lights. The vehicle was not a local resident.

A neighbor had to pull their vehicle out to save another child from being hit causing an accident and resulting in the arrest of the offender.

Vehicles continuously fail to stop at red flashing lights posing a great risk to kids needing to cross the street for their bus stop.
